By leveraging the resources of the previous World Color and Quebecor logistics groups and bringing in the appropriate outside expertise, we created the current organization. Quebecor World Logistics (QWL) is the logistics arm of Quebecor World. First created as a distinct entity within World Color, this organization has a long history of groundbreaking innovation in the distribution world. QWL has a history of industry firsts and best-in-class systems.
Some of QWL's early successes include the creation of QW Express, for effective management of the plants and customers expedited needs, which has since then evolved into a global freight forwarding provider. Perhaps the greatest achievement to date is the creation of an internal transportation management group. This group actually manages a base of thousands of asset-based carriers to maintain the highest level of service at the most competitive rates in the industry.
